Privacy Policy
The short version
- We don't ask for your name, email, or any account. You can play without signing in.
- Your game progress and settings stay on your device. We don't receive them.
- Arrow Escape is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob collects device data, including your device's advertising ID, to show and measure ads.
- If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
1. Who we are
Arrow Escape is published by Xmart Android, based in Pakistan ("we", "us"). For anything about this policy or your data, email xmartand@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
To keep your place in the game, Arrow Escape saves a small amount of information in the app's private storage on your device:
- The highest level you've unlocked
- Your sound and vibration settings
- Your daily challenge streak and the date you last completed one
- Whether you've seen the in-game tip about rotating arrows
- How many levels you've cleared since the last full-screen ad, so we can space ads out
This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us. It's deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings.
We don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other personal information, and the app has no accounts, chat or social features.
3. Advertising
Arrow Escape is free to play and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Ads appear as:
- a banner on the home and level select screens (never during play);
- an occasional full-screen ad between levels, from level 10 onwards and no more than once every three levels;
- optional rewarded video ads, shown only when you choose to watch one for a hint, an extra heart, or to skip a level.
What AdMob collects
When an ad is requested or shown, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app collects information from your device and sends it to Google. According to Google, this can include:
| Data | Examples | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Advertising ID, app set ID | Showing, limiting and measuring ads; fraud prevention |
| Approximate location | Derived from your IP address | Showing ads relevant to your region; fraud prevention |
| App and ad interactions | Ads shown, taps, app launches | Measuring ads; frequency capping; analytics |
| Diagnostics | Crash logs, performance data | Keeping the ad service working |
| Device information | Model, operating system, language | Showing ads that fit your device |
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We only see aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown, and can't identify you from them. Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Your advertising ID
Your Android device has an advertising ID: a random identifier that apps and ad networks can use for advertising. It isn't linked to your name, and you can reset or delete it at any time. Arrow Escape requests permission to use it (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) so that AdMob can show and measure ads.
To reset or delete your advertising ID on most Android devices, open Settings › Google › All services › Ads; on some Samsung devices it's under Settings › Security and privacy › More privacy settings › Ads.
- Reset advertising ID gives your device a new ID, disconnecting it from past ad activity.
- Delete advertising ID removes it; apps then receive a string of zeros and ads are no longer personalised using it.
You can also manage the ads Google shows you at My Ad Center.
5. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Arrow Escape uses Google's User Messaging Platform, a consent tool certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, to ask for your consent the first time you open the app. You can:
- Consent: Google and its ad partners may use your data, including cookies and your advertising ID, to show personalised ads;
- Not consent: you'll see non-personalised or limited ads, which are based on general context such as the app and your approximate location rather than your profile;
- Manage options: choose which purposes and partners to allow.
The game works the same whatever you choose.
To change or withdraw your consent later, clear Arrow Escape's data in your device settings (Settings › Apps › Arrow Escape › Storage › Clear data) and open the app again; the consent form will be shown. Clearing data also resets your game progress. You can also delete your advertising ID as described above.
Where consent is the legal basis for processing, as it is for personalised advertising in these regions, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing before withdrawal.
6. Purchases
If Arrow Escape offers an in-app purchase, such as removing ads, it's processed entirely by Google Play. We don't receive your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether the purchase succeeded.
7. Children
Arrow Escape is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The app doesn't ask for your age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we'll help remove it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.
Because we don't collect or store personal data ourselves, we generally have nothing about you to access or delete. Ad data is held by Google: you can manage it at My Ad Center and through your advertising ID settings, and you can exercise your rights with Google through Google's Privacy Policy. To opt out of targeted advertising, delete your advertising ID or, in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, decline consent.
We'll respond to any request sent to xmartand@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. International transfers
Google may process ad data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Google uses safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how Arrow Escape handles data, for example by adding a new service, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. For significant changes we'll also tell you in the app or in the Google Play listing.
